Breeding

We are proud to be able to offer beautiful Kennel Club registered Japanese Spitz puppies occasionally for sale.

Stephanie Bliss has owned, bred, showed and judged at Championship level for many years.
She had the honour of judging the Japanese Spitz at Crufts 2014 and regularly attends shows throughout the year campaigning the breed.
None of the dogs are kennelled, they live in the house and have 6 acres of fenced paddocks for free running.
Puppies are raised in the home and are well socialised.
The photos below show some of the Japanese Spitz that reside here.

Our Boys

Our Girls

Below are some lovely messages from new owners of our puppies. We always love to hear how new owners and pups are getting on and to share updates here on our page…

Rufio

“He’s just amazing ! We are so proud of him”

Charney Tsukino with Tazapash (Yoshi)

“The whole procedure from enquiring about availability to collecting our boy was excellent. Yoshi now 3 years old has done exceedingly well in the show ring especially at Championship Shows. His debut appearance at Crufts 2018 gained him a reserve Challenge Certificate age 11 months. He has gone on to win more reserve tickets and the ultimate joy at Crufts 2020 Best of Breed. A Charney bred dog has won Best of Breed four years consecutively. Our boy is a lovely breed and shares his affections with us along with our pug. I strongly advise going to a valued breeder such as Stephanie Bliss.”

Charney Sitara (Mya)

“It was with great excitement when Stephanie messaged me to say she had a beautiful girl for me to show.
I have always admired the Charney line so to have one join our successful show team here in Ireland, l was thrilled.
Mya lr Ch Charney Sitara fitted right in, fabulous temperament.
Showing as a puppy she had enormous wins from puppy class and also took reserve best baby puppy in show, she took her junior title and Irish title quickly. We thank Stephanie for her time & help and support.”

Fuji

“It has been my pleasure to have twice bought Japanese Spitz puppies from the Charney Pet Care Centre. Our first, Suki turned out to be a remarkable dog, loyal, friendly and very chilled. He took to the big city with great ease and was loved by all who met him.

We were lucky to then be able to get his half brother, Fuji, now eight months old, who is a bit more of a handful but with the same endearing qualities. We were vetted before buying Suki and obtained much useful advice from Stephanie as well as a full pack of information on rearing a spitz which has been invaluable. It is very reassuring to know the lineage of your dog and that it has been born in a loving and healthy environment.

Knowing a little of the personality of at least one of its parents gives you the confidence of knowing how your dog will turn out. It is also good to know there is someone who really knows the breed who you can go to for advice. I look forward to returning to Charney at one of their open days so that Fuji can meet his relatives again and play in the extensive paddock behind the kennels.”
